Corporate Services Officer
Reporting to the Managing Director and the Manager overseeing Corporate Services, the Officer will be trusted with a portfolio of clients to manage and build a lasting relationship with. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to job shadow the Manager with ample opportunity to grow and specialise in this industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients and handling client requests in relation to their companies;
- Support in board meetings including board pack assembling, action point follow-up and minute taking and drafting;
- Setting up of new companies, preparation and submission of statutory filings;
- Maintaining company registers;
- Liaising with the Registry of Companies and any other regulatory authorities
- Collection and verification of due diligence conducted as part of our know-your-client procedures;
- Ensuring that the portfolio of clients is kept up to date with ongoing monitoring and due diligence requirements;
- Ensuring that our system/database is always kept up to date with accurate and correct information;
- Honouring service level agreements by executing the required services in the shortest time frame possible whilst delivering a service that is of the highest quality, meeting clients’ expectations;
- Maintain an open dialogue of communication with clients on a regular basis and keep clients informed on any new relevant developments within their industry;
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role ideally within the financial, legal and/or corporate
service sectors; - Qualifications in a relevant field – a tertiary level of education would be desired;
- Impeccable fluency in written and spoken English;
- A 5-star service mentality, ensuring client satisfaction in every interaction whilst demonstrating a solid business acumen;
- Strong communication skills, able to engage positively and productively with clients, colleagues and service providers alike;
- Able to work under pressure, multi-task and meet tight deadlines;
- Highly organised, efficient and able to manage own workload with minimal supervision;
- Proficient in the use of all Microsoft applications;

Regulatory Compliance Advisor – Insurance
Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Compliance Services, the Advisor will be trusted with a portfolio of clients to manage and build a lasting relationship with. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to job shadow the Head of Regulatory Compliance Services with ample opportunity to grow and specialise in this industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Compliance Services to provide day-to-day support in the development, implementation and maintenance of regulatory compliance and financial crime compliance programs for a variety of clients within the insurance space;
- Assist with the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures-ensure compliance policies and procedures are effectively communicated to client, in accordance with the client’s regulatory requirements;
- Monitor and interpret new regulations which could impact clients;
- Monitor MFSA circulars etc. to follow up with clients;
- Assist in the submit quarterly compliance reports;
- Assist in conducting onsite compliance visits;
- Assist regulators during their onsite visits; and
- Handling correspondence with regulatory authorities;
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in compliance within the insurance industry;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Be in possession of a tertiary degree or professional qualification related to law, banking and finance and investment services;
- An understanding of the role of the compliance officer, the compliance program development and its maintenance;
- An understanding of laws and regulations surrounding insurance business and their application.
- Ability to think critically to efficiently and effectively provide solutions to regulatory issues;
- Possess good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills;
- A 5-star service mentality, ensuring client satisfaction in every interaction whilst demonstrating a solid business acumen;
- Strong, independent self –starter, as well as be capable to work in a team; and

Head of Regulatory Services
Reporting to the Managing Director/CEO, the Head of Regulatory Services will be trusted with a portfolio of clients to manage and build lasting relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and building a team of compliance professionals;
- Managing a portfolio of clients;
- Working with the Managing Director/CEO to identify opportunities whereby the Company penetrate;
- Ensuring that the compliance infrastructure is maintained in accordance with clients and regulatory standards;
- Making sure that the work is performed in accordance with the ongoing compliance procedures (including client service standards);
- Assisting and providing regulatory and compliance training;
- Monitoring fees and time management as appropriate, and working with the Managing Director negotiating fee increases where possible;
- Reviewing and approving with Managing Director additional client time and invoices on an ongoing basis;
- Assisting with the Company’s international expansion with respect to the provision of Compliance services; and
- Representing the Company at conferences and sitting on panels;
Requirements:
- An academic qualification in Compliance, Regulations, Law or relevant field of study at a Malta Qualification Framework (MQF) Level 7 or better;
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in compliance within the insurance industry;
- The ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines and produce high quality work;
- Fluency in financial industry practices and professional standards;
- Knowledge of EU and local regulations is considered an asset;
- Ability to listen actively and to work on one’s initiative as necessary; and
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Risk Associate
Reporting to the Head of Risk Services, the Risk Associate will be trusted with a portfolio of clients to manage and build a lasting relationship.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Risk and the Managing Director with the implementation of risk management frameworks;
- Provide analysis on different classes in order to understand key risks to be communicated with senior management;
- Monitor investment restrictions on a regular basis;
- Assist with the analysis for escalation senior management;
- Prepare and draft risk reports covering market risk, counterparty risk and liquidity risk;
- Communicate the risk exposures and maintain relationships with senior management; and
- Contribute in helping clients minimize or eliminate financial risks that could be detrimental towards their business goals;
Requirements:
- An academic qualification in Banking, Risk, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or relevant field of study at a Malta Qualification Framework (MQF) Level 6 or better;
- The ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines and produce high quality work;
- Excellent financial analysis skills with advanced Microsoft Excel;
- Fluency in financial industry practices and professional standards;
- Knowledge of EU and local regulations is considered an asset;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
